The Challenge
Sri Lankan students often face unreliable internet connections in rural areas, making online exam preparation stressful and difficult. The client needed a mobile application that could deliver complex mathematical and scientific questions, time-constrained mock exams, and instant performance analysis, while functioning seamlessly even in complete offline mode.
Our Custom Engineering
We engineered a robust cross-platform mobile application using Flutter, backed by a localized SQLite caching layer. The app downloads quiz databases and scientific diagrams securely when connected, allowing students to take full-length mock exams without an active internet link. We built a custom mathematical formula rendering engine in Flutter and designed a super-lightweight JSON payload structure to minimize data consumption. The backend uses Node.js and MongoDB with Firebase Auth for swift, secure logins.
