The Challenge
Sadew Motors wanted to establish themselves as a premier digital automotive broker in Sri Lanka. The existing vehicle marketplace platforms in the country were cluttered with slow load times, sub-par photo uploading systems, and weak search capabilities. They needed a high-performance, SEO-optimized web application capable of listing thousands of vehicles, supporting high-resolution image arrays, and offering instantaneous search results across location, price, brand, and vehicle model.
Our Custom Engineering
We chose Next.js to construct an optimized, server-side rendered marketplace. We integrated a progressive image compression pipeline that automatically optimizes user-uploaded vehicle photos into webp format directly on upload, drastically reducing page sizes. The search logic was engineered using custom PostgreSQL search indexes, bringing search execution times down to under 50 milliseconds. We integrated a sleek, mobile-friendly interface designed specifically for easy on-the-go browsing.
